Stars Over Atlantis is a game about remembering things that you'd rather forget and magic invading real-world spaces. About tragedy and sacrifice and death; about guilt and karma and forgiveness; about love and sex and gender.

"Every kinkster'd like to be
In my place instead of me
Cause I'm the king of bondage, baby
I'm the king of bondage town."
- Demian, a la Max Raabe

We can't disclose what altered state of consciousness we were in when we came up with the bizarre idea for this game, because we don't remember. But it was so awesome that we decided to share the mindscrew with our players. We dislike the idea of gag rules, but have considered implementing one for this game, due to some Fatal Spoilers. So the first rule of Stars is that you do not talk about Stars.

Game Stats

Stars Over Atlantis is a game for sixteen players (characters have assorted predefined genders) which runs for four or more hours, in one middling-large room, under the direction of at least three GMs. Average character sheet length is about twenty-five hundred words, and there's significant in-game reading.

The game is benched pending one more round of edits for continuity and, we hope, fixing one character (who we might just rearrange to cut if we can't fix.) And probably some further tweaks to update some old and janky writing of trans and genderqueer characters. We may also never bother to do this, since the game has some other flaws. The game has runtime GM information, but no casting or stuffing instructions.
